Dear Alhassan Foundation’s donors, believers and supporters
This project supports wheelchair basketball players in Egypt through training, equipment, and community support. Sport empowers athletes with confidence, independence, and life skills such as teamwork and respect, while promoting social inclusion, national pride, and community development.
It was a special night where hard work finally paid off. After a strong and consistent season, Alhassan won the Egyptian Wheelchair Basketball League title in its first edition (2025–2026). It was a proud moment for the whole team after months of effort and determination.
From the beginning, Alhassan showed they were serious about winning. They finished top of their group and kept improving with every game. When they reached the final stage, they stayed calm, focused, and played as one team.
In the final match against Minya, Alhassan played with confidence. Their defense was strong, and their fast attacks helped them control the game. They won 51–37, with a clear 14-point difference, becoming the first champions of the league.
At the same time, Alhassan’s women’s team had their own powerful story. They entered the league for the very first time with no experience at this level and no guarantees—only belief. And they surprised everyone.
They didn’t just play—they truly competed. They fought hard and proved they belonged. Game after game, they improved and built something special, until they proudly finished in 3rd and 4th place in their very first season. It was not just a result, it was a strong message: a new team had arrived.
That night, Alhassan didn’t just win a title. They wrote a story—a story of strength, teamwork, and ambition. And this is only the beginning.
We deeply appreciate every donor and supporter who has made our success stories possible. To keep the momentum going, we invite you to join our monthly donation program. Together, we can provide more opportunities for wheelchair users and help them rise as champions on the world stage.
