One student who was supported by the Mayanja Memorial Hospital Foundation with funds from GlobalGiving has passed her final national examinations. Last year this very student lost her father and the only sponsor for her nursing program after which she was unable to pay for her training costs. She applied to the Foundation for support through the Institute. The Foundation considered her case and supported her to complete the program.
Following her success in the final examinations she is eligible to be registered and licenced to practice nursing in Uganda. We hope once she gets employment she will earn a living thereby benefiting herself, family and country. Thanks to GlobalGiving Donors for enabling this student to complete her nursing program.
