Dear GG Donors,
Warm greetings from from Mayanja Memorial Hospital Foundation located in Mbarara, south west Uganda. The Foundation entered the GlobalGiving campaign with a project titled "Help Ugandan Youth Earn Nursing Certification" in 2010. The purpose of this project is to raise funds to support students from vulnerable families who are enrolled for nursing programmes in a sister institution named "Mayanja Memorial Medical Training Institute". Over the last 16 years GlobalGiving donors have raised US$36,297 through 411 donations. These donations have provided partial scholarships/grants to more than 50 students who were enabled to complete their nursing progammes. The requests to the Foundation for support from deserving sudents continues to grow due to financial pressures faced by many families.
From the Foundation we extend our sincere thanks to you all for the the support extended to the students over the years.
