Dear GlobalGiving Family,
New Year Greetings.
Mayanja memorial Hospital wecomes you to the year 2026.
Mayanja Memorial Medical Training Institute where GlobalGiving supported students study from are on holidays from November 2025 to mid February 2026. The holiday period is longer than usual as the students are of age to participate in national and local elections that started on January 15th, 2026 and are due to be completed on February 6th, 2026. All education institutions are expected to open the following week. Some of the nursing students have been offered clinical attachments at neighbouring health health centres where they continue to learn and practice clinical skills. It is expected that all students will be at the Institute by the end of the month of February.
