Project Report | Nov 9, 2020
A testimony from a former student

By Jerome Kabakyenga | Project Leader

Dear GlobalGiving Community,

I Christine take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to the GlobalGiving that helped me through sponsoring one half of my tuition fees at Mayanja Memorial Training Institute for my course in Enrolled Comprehensive Nursing. The nursing course programme  I pursued was of a duration of two and a half years - that is from May 2010 to December 2012.

I had a challenge of getting  Institute fees since I am an orphan with one parent, my mother, who sponsored my education. But with help from  GlobalGiving in January 2011 I managed to successfully  complete my programme with out any disturbances. For the last four years I have worked as a nurse with a company constructing Karuma Hydro power  project in Uganda. I have been able to support my family and my self financially thanks for your assistance may the Almighty bless you abundantly. I am looking forward to working hard to raise money to enable me upgrade in my profession. Though it is still hard but I trust in God that every thing is possible. Thanks again because I am what I am now because of support from GlobalGiving.
