One of the first recipients of GlobalGiving scholarship graduated in 2014 with a certificate in nursing is now working with one of the local districts in Uganda. She was recruited by the district four years ago and posted to a rural health centre. She enjoys her work regardless of the challenges she is encountering such as shortages of supplies. She is now married with 2 children. From the salary she receives she is able to contribute towards family expenses. She plans to enrol for a post basic diploma in nursing programme in 2021. She extends her appreciation to GlobalGiving Donors for having supported her through the scholarship to get her certificate.
