Four (4) Students who who received support from Global Giving graduated alongside their (775) colleagues on November 23, 2018. The students completed their studies during the period 2014-2018. The formal graduation was colourful and the Chief Guest was the Commissioner for Private Schools at the Ministry of Education and Sports in Kampala, Uganda. The function was held at the campus of Mayanja Memorial Training Institute in Mbarara Municilpality, Uganda.
The four graduated with Enrolment Certificates in either General Nursing or Midwifely. They are employed in public or private institutions. This employment was made possible because of posession of the relevant certificates in Nursing or Midwifely. They are involved in health service delivery and at the same time the payment they receive helps to solve financial requirements they encounter. They express appreciation to Global Giving for having supported them in their training. Individual stories to follow in subsequent reports.
