Mayanja Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of directors are happy to report that Global Giving funds totaling USD 14,469.35 were received on our account on February 15,2011. These funds are expected to support 18-20 student nurses this year.
A scholarship Committee set up by the Board has already come out with criteria for selection and application forms. The adverts are already out and we expect scholarships to be awarded before the end of week three from today (February 15, 2011).
Next report will have some short comments from the beneficiaries.
