MOTHERS DAY CAMPAIGN 100% MATCH for monthly gifts!
Thank you, dear loyal friends, for your generous support of our Support UPO’s Foster Grandparents Program to date.
We have a great opportunity to double your donations to UPO’s Foster Grandparents Program and help us in our ongoing fight against Poverty as the Community Action Agency of Washington DC for the past 55 years!
UPO’s Foster Grandparents Program will earn a 100% match from GlobalGiving for all new monthly donations of up to $200 started during the MOTHERS DAY CAMPAIGN MAY 1 -13, after four monthly installments have been paid.
UPO’s Foster Grandparent (FGP) Program trains low-income Washington DC seniors to provide critical mentoring and emotional support to District children in a variety of local settings. The program operates at 48 locations in the District of Columbia and includes early education centers, public and charter schools, before and after-school programs, youth programs and hospitals.
Mother’s Day is just around the corner on Sunday, May 13th, so it’s time to celebrate motherhood and recognize all mother figures including those UPO Foster Grandmothers who annually give over 180,000 volunteer hours, serving over 15,000 social economically disadvantaged children at 60 volunteer sites in Washington, DC
