Dear supporters,
This year is promising a lot. We are in huge preparations to welcome International Day of Girls in ICT on the fourth of Thursday of April.
As we are approaching to this week, we have organized several workshops during the day in cooperation with the experts from the world. In that manner, Microsoft has offered to bring a partner from Slovenia, an expert in ICT. She will come to Sarajevo where we will gather girls and held the workshop.
It is planned to gather more than 20 girls to talk about how to make success in the ICT sector. The expert will prepare her own step by step of how the ICT sector functions from her perspective and try to explain why girls and women are more suitable and great expert in this area.
Other theme we want to cover this year is violence. Therefore, the second part of our this year's event will be on how to connect technology in violence prevention. The workshop will be held with the expert on how to use technology in order to make apps and software in innovative way to prevent violence since the new generation of youth is using the tecnology in closer way than ever. taking in mind that cyber bullying is nowadays in growth, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this theme will cover and spark the girls to think about innovative solutions for the prevention.
