Whereas the Holiday Season is for many the happiest time of the year, it can be hard to celebrate when you are barely making ends meet. This past December, we decided to share some holiday cheer with the women in our Malkia program and their families. We held a clothing and food drive and so many people gave so generously.
Seeing the women's joy and gratitude, as they received their Christmas packages, was priceless. Because of the generosity of our donors, these women could spend the holidays with their families instead of going out to look for the next meal.
We are so grateful for your support and we hope that we will all continue with that holiday spirit into this new year.
