At Life in My Days we constantly ask ourselves how do we ensure everything we're doing is always value added to our community. This question came up again in relation to recruiting our first cohort of fellows. We decided, instead of flyers and a targeted marketing approach, we'd transform our recruitment and marketing into work that benefits our community long term.
We decided to host six different workshops that serve as foundations for the fellowship and allow us to market the fellowship in a way that benefits individuals whether or not they end up being a part of the first cohort. With this strategy we're able to reach nearly 400 additional community members, outside of our cohort of 20 incredible individuals.
In addition to the workshops we're hosting three open mic nights and a traveling art and visual media gallery that centers environmental trauma and resilience and reimagines a better and more just world.
Our work is far from over, and with every step forward we're moving towards justice and equity for our community and every community out there.
We could still use your support, to reach more, do more, and transform more. Every little bit helps and we're honored that you've chosen to walk with us on this incredible path.
