In February, 2024. FACE carried out a distribution of essential items to internally displaced persons in Longechuk County, Upper Nile State including food items, such as maize and beans, FACE also distributed non-food items like buckets and washing soap to both refugees and the host community. The ongoing conflict in Sudan continues to drive the influx of refugees and internally displaced persons from South Sudan, many of whom had settled in Sudan before the outbreak of war. There is a pressing need to support these vulnerable groups, aiming to alleviate hunger and to enhance the children's health who arrive daily.
