This summer, Nyaka held another successful Annual Walk Against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), bringing together community members, students, local leaders, and advocates from across Uganda to stand united against abuse. The march raised powerful awareness about the ongoing need to protect and empower women and girls while engaging men and boys as partners in creating lasting change.

Our dedicated team in Uganda continues to work every day to combat sexual and gender-based violence through education, prevention, and care for survivors. From school-based programs that teach children about their rights, to community dialogues and survivor support services, Nyaka’s holistic approach ensures that every person, especially the most vulnerable, has access to safety, justice, and hope. Thank you for standing with us as we build a future free from violence.
