Since returning from Christmas break, our school has enjoyed a period of achievement and growth, highlighted by the success of our January production of Beauty and the Beast. Students, faculty and staff worked collaboratively to bring this story to life with creativity and dedication. Three days of performances resulted in sold-out shows, reflecting the talent and commitment of all involved. From the performances to the detailed set design and costumes, the production showcased the strength of our school community while fostering teamwork and pride.
Celebration of the Arts offered students another opportunity to show their creativity. The evening featured musical performances alongside displays of student artwork. Events like this one highlight the importance of the arts in our school experience.
Our Festival of Intercultural Understanding celebrated the diversity of our community through a week of activities highlighting cultures, traditions and perspectives from around the world. Cultural displays, presentations, food, music and storytelling created meaningful opportunities for connection and learning. The festival concluded with a special performance by Bahamian artist Eddie Minnis, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and unity.
In March, we held our 5th Annual Golf Tournament at Ocean Club Golf Course, bringing together alumni, families and friends of St Andrew’s for a day of competition and community engagement while raising funds for the Annual Fund.
As the school year begins to wind down, students are focused on their final exams. Classrooms are filled with revision and reflection as students work to consolidate their learning and finish the year strong. Our teachers continue to provide guidance and support, ensuring that all students are well-equipped for this important period.
Together, these accomplishments reflect St Andrew’s International School’s commitment to providing diverse opportunities for students to excel creatively, culturally and academically. They serve as a testament to the hard work, passion and unity that define our school community, setting a strong foundation for continued success in the future.
