In the aftermath of the pandemic outbreak and long quarantined days inside, small group therapy in Beit Uri’s aviary, goat compound and growing pet corner, have taken on a new perspective.
As an active educational therapeutic area, many individuals and groups of school aged kids, youth and adults are being trained to clean, prepare food and take on responsibilities in maintaining the entire area.
The animal pens continuously in need of equipment and food stocks, enable residents to interact with rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, cockatiels and goats - promoting self-confidence, motivation, emotional development and empathy towards the nurtured animals.
Your donations, during this very difficult period have enabled animal therapy to flourish and put smiles on so very many Beit Uri faces !
