Despite Corona restrictions, Chanukah the Festival of Light has been filled with light and music. With the help of GlobalGiving donations Beit Uri moved its music activities outdoors and small groups of residents are enjoying a newly built landscaped area with specially-designed climate friendly instruments. Adults and children are now able to explore their senses through musical vibrations in a magical music garden.
In the adjacent ‘villa’ for independent living in the community a group of busy bakers have perfected bread-making techniques and opened a tasty cottage industry for all to enjoy. Art projects, a renovated pet corner and music-filled days keep the village buzzing and full of sunshine !
Even the visually impaired are participating in lighting chanukah candles and spreading light for others
Your support continues to strengthen Beit Uri through this period with dedicated commitment to offering a nurturing and healthy environment for a very special community.
Happy Chanukah and a Big Thank You !
