By Jeanette Koll | Resource Development & mother of Beit Uri resident
David and Cecil Rosenthal, inseparable brothers known for their love for life, were among those taken too soon during the 2018 massacre at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue. 'The Boys' were kind-hearted and loving in nature like so many of Beit Uri’s special residents.
The Rosenthal family asked people to share random acts of kindness in their memory and truly witnessed this during their recent visit to Beit Uri. Emotional songs were sung next to wooden plaques flanking trees in memory of the brothers. Ceramic plates and a woven carpet with the Tree of Life image made by residents of the home were greatly appreciated.
Your donations helped upgrade the equipment to make these wonderful products and give pleasure to so many people.
'Don’t wait for happiness. Create it. Let’s show we are stronger than hate as we truly witnessed in Beit Uri' said mother of the boys Joy Rosenthal.
