By Jeanette Koll | Resource Development/Mother of Beit Uri resident
Global Giving donations have continued to come in on a daily basis, each making a difference in the lives of Beit Uri residents. The new ceramic kiln purchased together with the clay rolling machinery for the blind were used around the clock last week – rolling, cutting, painting and firing tiles for the new assisted living building plaque.
Yossi – blind and mentally challenged, enthusiastically turns the clay wheel creating strips of clay which were cut, designed and painted by Amos and Shai before placing in the kiln, fired, dried and hung for all to admire !!
You have helped beautify the surroundings and enable residents to work creatively on upgraded equipment. For that we are truly grateful .
Our $20,000 goal is in sight !
