We rescued Linito, a 40 years old capuchin who had been living in a private house in Barcelona city for over 36 years.
Wen he was a baby was a victim of illegal pet trade. Originally from Venezuela, he arrived by plane to Barcelona. During at least the 10 hours that the flight from the South American country lasted, the little Linito was crammed inside the trafficker's trousers, stuffed and tied with duct tape to his bed.
Once in Barcelona, after passing through several hands, he ended up in a tiny cage in a flat of Barcelona city until Mona rescued him.
