Dear Friend,
Many thanks for your generosity in supporting the Mona Foundation Sanctuary in Spain. We recently rescued Suzie, a 40-year-old chimpanzee who was kept in a private home alone for many years. It has taken 11 years of negotiations with Suzie’s owners to convince them that the best place for her is to live with other chimpanzees at the MONA Sanctuary in Spain. We are very pleased that Suzie was rescued and relocated to the sanctuary in September. She is settling in well and she is being introduced to her new family slowly. She gets along very well with Tom, another chimpanzee resident. Thanks to your generosity and support, we can provide Suzie with the care and support that she needs.
