Dear donor, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely again for what you did for this public radio by donating to Sound of Hope Radio FM 96.1!
As anyone in media would know, running a media is labor-intensive profession with low profit margin. This is especially true for an ethnic public radio. However, Chinese community needs powerful public-serving media as a servicing and protective voice. We are honored to be that voice, and your generous support keeps this voice in air.
In the past half year we were able to create several very popular new programs, with the fund that you provide:
Your donation helps pay for partial airtime leasing fee and the salary of the program hosts, and serves as a motivation for the hosts to carry on the time-consuming work on these popular programs, knowing that the donors are behind them.
Going forward, we are planning on launching our 2nd half 2015 donation campaign, to pay for these programs for the rest of the year. We look forward to your kind-hearted support and you should be very proud of being the pioneers that support the first Chinese American public radio network!
