Dear Supporters,
Thank you so much for your continued support of this project over the past several years. As we bring it to a close, we'd like to tell you how much you have helped: Through your gift you have helped us and our partner organization in Peru provide after-school programming for children with little to no home support, including a teacher, materials, and additional volunteers. Besides the educational aspect, this CASA project has allowed them a safe place to be after school while their parent/s are away working. The children have made it through these past years in school with your help.
Older youth have also had the opportunity to learn about small business management through a youth project which helped them create and maintain a small bakery. By giving them an opportunity to be leaders, we have helpe increase their self-confidence and sense of worth and self-efficacy. We can only imagine the impact this will have on the rest of their lives.
Though we hope to keep track of these youth throughout the years, our relationship with our partner organization has changed, and we will be seperating from them and beginning to search for a new partner, and new project to embark upon. Please continue to follow us as we determine our next project focus.
