Transport for children

Dear Esteemed Patrons,

Greetings to you from HEARDS!

As the rehabilitation process of working children is going on in a full swing by way of providing non-formal and formal education children are actively coming to centre with lots of happiness as our teachers and animators are keeping extra-ordinary effort in making this program successful.  The only problem we face right now was children were scattered in various places in and around Chittoor.  As most of the children are coming from places like Brick Kilns, Construction sites, Granite query industries, Poultry industry, and so many children in the villages were involved in rearing milch animals, goat rearing and therefore we have already recovered from the clutches of employers who were made these children as bonded laborers.  We have also convinced the parents and right now they were happy because they were freed from the clutches of the employers and happily they regained their lost childhood.

In order to ferry these kids from their home to the rehabilitation centre and vice versa we find it very difficult.  We have a vehicle but we find it really hard for its maintenance.  So I request all the donors to kindly support because ferrying the kids is utmost important as we need to take them back to the centre and then only we can make them regain their lost childhood.

HEARDS is providing free transport facility to all children of our rehabilitation centre. During our 16 years of service, hundreds of children have utilised our transport services. We were able to successfully mainstream 640 children successfully into the Government schools.  All these accomplishments were reached with the help of proper transport facility. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to achieve this great success. But many more are not able to use this facility due to financial constraints.  You are gifting an education by sponsoring the monthly transportation costs of these children.

I fervently request all our esteemed donors to kindly donate for the maintenance of transportation in order to change the lives of many more children in future.  At this juncture I would like to thank sincerely all the donors who were there with us towards the success of all our projects and I am sure that you will certainly help us in making this program a meaningful endeavor.

Thanking you,

With best wishes and fond regards,
