Respected Donors,
Created an everlasting transformation in the lives of more than 195 underprivileged children and with your support, we will touch many more lives……. We are really proud to be associated with the GlobalGiving Team for the support they are rendering to the Abhilasha Foundation and for saving the lives of underprivileged children... We are overwhelmed with the support given by the GlobalGiving Team and making us a part of their large family. Abhilasha Foundation has been giving financial support for the open heart surgeries of underprivileged children and validated their faith in our organization. We request the GlobalGiving Team to spread awareness about Abhilasha Foundation and its causes and raise more funds so that many more underprivileged children can be treated and will lead a normal life…. A further request to the GlobalGiving Team to invite the potential donors to donate generously on our various projects so that it reaches the beneficiaries. Together we can eradicate poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, and violence.
Case story of a beneficiary who had a successful open-heart surgery:
Beneficiary 1: He is an 11 years old boy suffering from Large Secundum ASD (An ostium Secundum atrial septal defect is a type of congenital heart defect called an atrial septal defect). He needed to undergo ICR of ASD closure. Due to their financial condition, they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not treat him. His health started deteriorating day by day and they took him to Balaji Heart Hospital & Diagnostic Centre, Mumbai. His father worked as a labourer on the farms in Nandurbar District, Maharashtra and his mother is a housewife. He earns only Rs.2916/- per month. Since he has to take care of the family and his parents are dependent on him, he naturally is not in a position to bear the cost of the treatment for him. We, therefore, sincerely appeal to the donors like YOU to come forward and extend your full support to enable us to treat many more children and donate generously. The approximate cost for the surgery is Rs. 2,50,000/-.
Beneficiary 2: She is 22 months old baby girl suffering from Congenital Heart Disease, Subaortic Ventricular Septal Defect. She needs to undergo urgent ICR-VSD Surgical Closure heart surgery at the earliest. Due to their financial condition, they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not treat her. Her health started deteriorating day by day and they took her to Jehangir Hospital, Pune. Her father works as a labourer on the farm in Solapur District, Maharashtra and her mother is a housewife. He earns only Rs.4916/- per month. Since he has to take care of the family and his parents are dependent on him, he naturally is not in a position to bear the cost of the treatment of his baby. The approximate cost for the surgery is Rs. 4,45,000/-. After coming to Abhilasha Foundation they had a hope that his son/daughter will get a new life and will lead a normal life. Abhilasha Foundation gave all the financial support for his/her surgery and treated him. Both of them are now fine and leading a normal life. We thank the GlobalGiving Team for supporting the Abhilasha Foundation for raising funds for the surgery and treatment of the underprivileged children…..
