COVID 19 pandemic has changed the lives of the people. Many migrants have gone to their villages and many have lost their jobs. Due to the pandemic factories are closing, people are losing their jobs. Life has become tough and difficult to meet both ends. Abhilasha Foundation initiated the process of relief services in different parts of slums in Mumbai & Thane to meet the pressing need of the afflicted, especially the daily wagers, poor, needy, and physically challenged people living in the slums. Our team worked day and night to provide food grains to these people these included food grains, spices, oil, potatoes, onions, sugar, salt, spices, chocolates, and biscuits to the migrant children and daily wage workers families in Mumbai slums. The distribution of food grains was done as per the government guidelines. Abhilasha Foundation team is committed even during this difficult time to continue to serve the poor and the needy daily wage workers.
