Lots of Socks, Lots of Support

We want to share the story of an incredible young man, whose creativity and determination inspire us all. Tymofiy is an 18-year-old boy with Down syndrome, whose love for art and sports helps him overcome all the challenges that life brings.

Despite the war forcing his family to leave their hometown of Kharkiv and start a new life in Ireland, Tymofiy doesn't stop. Keeping his love for art and sports, he continues to paint, train at home, and dreams of victories in sports competitions.

His creativity is truly impressive. One of his most famous drawings is a large bus-house, which symbolizes hope and the possibility of moving forward. For Tymofiy, it’s not just transportation. It’s a sign of freedom, love, and joy, even in times when everything around seems dark.

With each of his paintings, Tymofiy reminds us that even in the most difficult moments, it’s important to hold on to our dreams. His colorful and vibrant bus has become a symbol of resilience and support from those who are ready to help each other in times of hardship.

Recently, one of his paintings became the basis for creating a sock print for the “Lots of socks” campaign, which supports people with Down syndrome.
