IAB has been working for about 36 years in empowering people with visual challenges through education. This project give rise to $814 through 14generous donations.
With this funds, we started to procure some of the edible commodities as part of supporting old aged visually challenged persons. Old age persons belongs to very poor family background. After identifying the situation of elderly people, we committee has discussed and taken up the initiation of supply of food groceries to them every month. To keep the old people happy in some extent on humanitarian grounds, we are supplying every month food groceries rice, dal, cooking oil, etc to them.
Till today, we have supported 1,93,000 meals by providing 3000+ grocery kits. we look forward in raising more for this cause. As always, we, along with GlobalGiving, will do our best in reaching out to generous donors across the Globe and will strive to bring happiness on the face of each of our beneficiaries.
