Support LGBTQIA+ Youth Protection provides emergency care, counseling, education support, and livelihood training for vulnerable LGBTQIA+ youth facing violence, homelessness, and exclusion. The project creates safe spaces where young people can access protection services, mental health support, mentorship, and skills training to rebuild confidence, continue education, and achieve long-term stability and independence.
LGBTQIA+ youth are disproportionately affected by discrimination, family rejection, bullying, homelessness, and violence. Many lose access to education, healthcare, and safe housing, increasing risks of exploitation, mental health challenges, unemployment, and poverty. Fear of stigma prevents many from seeking help, leaving vulnerable youth isolated without support systems or opportunities to build safe and productive futures.
The project will provide emergency shelter referrals, food assistance, counseling, peer support, education aid, vocational training, and legal referrals for at-risk LGBTQIA+ youth. Community outreach and awareness campaigns will promote inclusion and reduce discrimination. Partnerships with volunteers, educators, and healthcare providers will strengthen access to protection services while empowering beneficiaries with skills for independence.
The project will help LGBTQIA+ youth gain safety, education, emotional resilience, and economic independence. Over time, it will reduce homelessness, school dropout rates, violence, and social exclusion among vulnerable youth. Increased awareness and stronger community support systems will promote inclusion, human rights protection, and sustainable opportunities that allow LGBTQIA+ young people to thrive and contribute positively to society.
