Life in Afghanistan changed drastically two years ago, however, our village continues to educate children. Our 23rd school year is under way. We are so excited that village elders and families feel strongly about continuing to educate both boys and girls. As Afghanistan takes a back seat in the news these days, we struggle to keep our project funded and keep people interested in Afghan affairs. We are happy to report that our teachers and staff remain committed to educating children and providing basic health care. I am grateful for peace in our village and a partnership that remains strong through difficult financial times. We will have new photos to share soon.
