ICAP is on the move! With a new class set to start their ICAP experience on September 24, 2016. This kick-off will commence the fall programming of the 2016 ICAP (October 8- 16, 2016) and alumni programming. On September 24, 2016 ICAP alum are invited to meet with the new 2016 fellows during this fall reception.
Taking into consideration alumni feedback from last year for more diverse programming in New York and DC, ICAP will roll out a series of events focused on international affairs and trade relations, professional development, transitioning from political appointments and diversity in at the executive level. Please save the date for our next program in collaboration with ICAP’s new strategic partner Center for Strategic Studies (CSIS) on October 5, 2016 titled, “Enriching the Policy Ecosystem: Broadening the Talent Base.”
Membership News
In membership news, ICAP has launched a new logo and is in the process rolling out a new communications tool to individualize member services. Lastly, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) open season begins September 1, 2016. We see CFC as a way to expand the reach of ICAP in the promotion of the program as well as increase the donor base for the upcoming ICAP classes.
