We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for your continued support. We are happy to share the story of our success and growth in 2015-16 with you.
HPPI is evolving significantly as we invest in training and developing our people, improving our systems, taking advantage of new technologies and working with other organizations around the world. While it is inspiring to work together with under-served people and see the growing impact, it is also humbling to see the impressive commitment, spirit and skills of people right across this organisation working towards a better future. With our combined strength and solidarity of purpose, HPPI has seen unprecedented growth in the last financial year.
Year 2015-16 witnessed the biggest growth trajectory in the last 18 year history of HPPI’s developmental work in India. Through co-ordinated strategic alliances and partnerships, HPPI forged relationships with 15 new international and national private and public partners and Government organizations this year. Based on broad based participation these partnerships resulted in 15 new sustainable and scalable projects across India. HPPI branched out to 4 new states namely Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand in 2015-16 directly reaching out to 30,000 more under server individuals and households.
With significant focus on Women Empowerment, Sustainable Livelihoods and Education, HPPI delved into specialized programs for Learning Enhancement for Girl Children, Financial Literacy of poor rural women and also scaled up Financial Capacity Building through Microfinance. Organizational capacity of HPPI increased accordingly, to support and facilitate expansion of HPPI. Employee strength of HPPI increased from 578 employees in 2014-15 to 1356 in 2015-16.
Thank you to all our donors and patrons for this up rise and upswing of HPPI. This gives us the courage and means to reach out to more people who need assistance in getting out of dehumanizing conditions.
