As we ended our fiscal year on June 30, 2016 and we have begun to compile data from our program sites. Each year, we look at the critical services we have delivered and search for ways to improve our efficiency and increase our impact for those we serve at the Streetwork Project. During the past year, 1,112 unique visitors came to Streetwork to access our services. These services included overnight shelter, case management, showers, food pantry, lockers, and connections to health and harm reduction services, among others.
Another major component of Streetwork is providing mental health services. During the past fiscal year, 302 clients received mental health services including counselling, psychiatric evaluations, psychological assessments, and crisis interventions.
Finally, we don’t want you to think that we don’t have any fun at Streetwork. This past June, we celebrated NYC Pride by mobilizing our clients, staff, and supporters to march in this year’s Pride Parade. As many of our clients identify as LGBTQ, this is an importantly holiday for Streetwork, and something we look forward to throughout the year.
All of this would not be possible without your support. Thank you for supporting the Streetwork Project and for your commitment to assisting those in need in our shared community.
