By Fr Jean Damascene TUYISHIMIRE | Head Teachers of the School
At the close of the 2024–2025 academic year, Groupe Scolaire Busogo I, Saint Benoit identified 98 vulnerable learners (58 primary and 40 secondary) in urgent need of support for school fees, learning materials, and uniforms. The project set a total fundraising goal of $7,392 to address these essential needs.
To date, $14 has been raised from 2 generous donors, leaving a remaining balance of $7,378. While no monthly donors have yet been secured, outreach efforts continue through church networks and local community partners. With 4 months remaining in the campaign, the project is still in its early stages, and momentum-building activities are ongoing.
Current progress highlights strong need but limited financial response so far. The school continues to prioritize awareness, donor engagement, and partnership expansion to ensure these students can access uninterrupted education. Accelerated fundraising efforts will be critical in the coming months to meet the target and deliver timely support.
Best Regard.
Fr Jean Damascene TUYISHIMIRE.
