Disbursement completed

Dear our sponsors and whom it may concern,

As of June 2021, we have completed the disbursement of the program “Overcoming floods with the Central Region- A mission from the heart”.

With a total amount of 1,058,985,330 VND (approximately 46,000 USD) raised - including 1,361 USD raised through GlobalGiving - from 55 individuals and 31 organizations/groups, we have implemented the following activities:

Giving 10 lifeboats to the People's Committee of Ba Don town and Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province
Supporting 49 households severely affected by floods
Donating 26 sets of 5-point anchor through Flood Proof Houses to support
pontoon houses for people in Quang Binh province
Renovating, upgrading and giving gifts for 1 school site and 2 clinics in Thua Thien Hue province and Ha Tinh province

With these supports, thousands of people, especially children, have overcome difficulties caused by floods. Hundreds of families have settled down and avoided the risks of life and health.
