Support Environmental Education for Climate Action

Dear supporters, 

The heat waves and extreme weather events the world has been experiencing around the world have served as reminders that the effects of climate change are not slowing down. We send our support to the communities that have been affected and are working tirelessly to educate people and businesses on how to live in harmony with the planet and take climate action. 

This summer has been jam packed with connections across the South East region of the US. Here’s what we’ve been up to:

• Our staff and volunteers attended Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival as a supporting nonprofit. Here, we connected with festival attendees on how they can take responsibility for their carbon footprint. The fun was cut short due to intense storms and flooding, but we’re proud of the work we were able to do. 
• We published a blog post covering how the fossil fuel industry has fueled the climate crisis, but how our individual action, together, can make a difference. Read the blog here. 
• Our digital education and outreach has covered a variety of sustainability topics and we have reached over 25,000 people across platforms, closing the knowledge gap on climate education.
