VISIONAR update - September 2011

VISIONAR - Wine Tasting event Chicago, August 2011

VISIONAR continues making inroads in the communities of Chicago, IL and San Francisco, Argentina. Our dual goal is to promote the organization and to continue raising funds.

In Chicago: August 12th, 2011 - VISIONAR participated in a wine tasting event sponsored by the Argentine Consulate. More than two hundred attendees had the chance to learn about VISIONAR as they registered for the event.

In San Francisco, Argentina: June 11th, August 13th, September 10th - Seminars on Personal Image, organized by VISIONAR and Atrapasueños to raise funds for scholarships. These seminars, led by image consultant Cecilia Varese, are designed to help attendees improve their personal image, be it during job search, in the workplace, or in other aspects of social life. Suggested donation of USD $20 (pesos $60) per seminar.

We invite all our friends and supporters to consider a donation to VISIONAR via Globalgiving. We are getting ready to open the selection process for 2012 scholarships and your help will be greatly appreciated!
