Aparis CDP is a community-based organization operating in Uganda, Ajuket Parish Kanyumu county. The Project serves vulnerable, orphaned, and needy children to help lift the community out of poverty. The projects focus is to support over 1,000 rural, underprivileged children through education and essential school supplies. This Project is asking for donations to get 1,021 rural school children exercise books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, School bags,balls, uniforms, meals. Sports uniforms.
Poorly resourced rural primary schools face significant challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, a shortage of qualified teachers and learning materials, and socioeconomic issues such as child labor and poverty. These issues collectively impact the quality of education and student outcomes. The project relies on external partnerships, such as GlobalGiving, single donations, and volunteers to build classrooms and improve rural education
The initiative aims to improve the quality of education in the area by providing school materials (uniforms, bags, books) and school fees sponsorship, support for orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). The project has achieved significant success, with student, such as those mentioned in our report, passing national exams ( Primary Leaving Examination. PLE) with high grades and continuing to high school. Building permanent infrastructure & Resource Development, Recruiting trained teachers from the local Community, Using local materials to build classrooms, start school gardens, and sanitation facilities. Essential learning tools: Prioritizing basic resources like books and writing materials .
