In Malindi, Kenya, over 70% of orphaned and vulnerable children struggle to access quality education due to poverty and lack of financial support. Around 60% face food insecurity, affecting their health and school attendance. More than 50% risk dropping out of school before completing basic education. Without intervention, many of these children are exposed to child labor, exploitation, & a continued cycle of poverty.
This project will directly address the barriers faced by orphaned and vulnerable children in Malindi by providing access to education, basic needs, and protection. It will cover school fees, provide uniforms and learning materials, and ensure children remain in school. By meeting both educational and welfare needs, the project will break the cycle of poverty and give 100 children a safe, stable path toward a better future.
