Dear friends and donors! Hope you’re fine!
We would like you to know the latest activities we have done in the Toy Library. These were related to Mexican traditions, to let the children get involved with their culture.
In México, on November the 2nd we celebrate the ‘Day of the dead’ in which people remember their relatives and friends who have passed away. Following the custum, the Toylibrary organized a contest in which the children had to elaborate an altar decorated with papel picado, candles, flowers, photographs of the departed, candy skulls and some of his or her favorite foods and beverages.
Besides, on December, a Christmas sphere contest took place. The kids had lots of fun making them out with styrofoam balls and spangle.More than 30 kids participated and the winner was Hector Guijosa, who made a Santa Claus. (photo)
We greatly appreciate all your support that helps us to continue with our activities!!
Kind regards,
EDUCA Team
