Introduction

This report summarizes the key activities implemented by Learning Squared Liberia during the reporting period of March to July 2026 under the project. The reporting period focused on strengthening access to education and promoting women's economic empowerment in Margibi County. The major activities included preparations for the FY27 Back-to-School book ride and the successful implementation of a one-day microfinance training workshop for women beneficiaries following the completion of their first loan cycle.

Key Achievements

Learning Squared Liberia initiated preparations for its FY27 Back-to-School Book Ride, which will support three schools with essential educational materials, including copybooks, pencils, pens, textbooks, and other learning resources. Preparatory activities included identifying beneficiary students, engaging school administrators and community leaders, assessing educational needs, and developing a distribution plan. The campaign is expected to reduce barriers to education, encourage school attendance, and improve learning opportunities for vulnerable children.

The organization also conducted a one-day Microfinance Training Workshop at ROSODAN School System for women who completed their first microfinance loan cycle. The training enhanced participants' knowledge of financial management, savings, business planning, entrepreneurship, and loan management. Women shared lessons learned from their businesses, discussed challenges, and received practical guidance to strengthen business growth and financial sustainability. The workshop also provided valuable feedback to improve future microfinance programming while reinforcing Learning Squared's commitment to women's economic empowerment.

Recommendations and Conclusion

Learning Squared should continue providing post-training mentorship and business coaching to women entrepreneurs, expand educational support to reach more vulnerable students, strengthen partnerships with schools and community stakeholders, introduce advanced business management topics in future trainings, and maintain regular monitoring and evaluation to measure project impact.

Overall, the activities implemented during the reporting period made meaningful progress toward improving educational access and strengthening the economic resilience of women in Margibi County. Learning Squared Liberia remains committed to delivering sustainable programs that empower communities through education, entrepreneurship, and strategic
