This report covers recent activities implemented under the above-mentioned project covering the month under review (April 2021- July 2021). Activities were held in Bong, Lofa Margibi & Bomi, counties in Liberia. This report reflects on the following activities below:

ACHIEVEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD UNDER REVIEW:
2.1 Learning Squared Liberia extends Scholarship program in Bong Lofa Counties
On the above mention date, Learning Squared Liberia extended its ’’Support Rural Girls Education’’ program to Lofa and Bong Counties in rural Liberia. The organization visited three (3) schools in Lofa and two (2) schools in Bong Counties, Liberia.
During these separate programs in these Counties, Learning Squared provided tuitions, textbooks, cash donations, and schoolbook bags to over 50 students in five schools in both Bong and Lofa Counties.
Speaking at the organization’s launching program in Voinjama District, Lofa County, the County’s Superintendent Hon. William Tamba Kamba welcomed the team and encourage them to work in the best interest of the most needed children in the communities. Also speaking at this program, the acting County Education officer (CEO) Mr. Mulbah K. Roberts who is also the resident District Education officer (DEO) of Lofa County express thanks to Learning Squared and applauded the organization for its effort in providing assistance to the children in Lofa county. He pledged his office fullest support to the organization.
2.2 Community Meetings
Learning Squared Liberia organized two community meetings aimed at providing information on the child protection policy and awareness-raising on the COVID 19 preventive measures in the Country. These meetings brought together over 60 participants, including county authorities, parents, community leaders, teachers, women, and the disabled community. Meetings were held in Bomi and Margibi counties respectively. Participants expressed interest in these topics and requested our team to do a refresher session during the coming months.
2.3 School Monitoring
During the reporting period, the Learning Squared Liberia team visited four partner schools in Bomi and Margibi Counties. These visits were aimed at monitoring the level of impact and progress of the students during the school year. And to ensure that schools are in compliance with the government regulation on the preventive measures of COVID. To also review the child protection policy put in place by these schools and lastly review the progress of students on our scholarship program.
2.4 Recommendation and Conclusion
Thanks and appreciation to our supporters, donors, GlobalGiving, Local communities, and schools for the level of commitment shown towards the successful implementation of the project, Learning Squared Liberia is open to working with all children of Liberia, Mostly the underprivileged children in rural Liberia
