Support 7 Weeks of Full-Day Summer at CAMP IMANI

Thanks for your support in the past.  We could not do this without your help.  As the founder of Imani House, I am the mother of five children.  I know first hand how important it is for children to have fun and engage in new learning, both physical and emotional in order to mature into caring and capable adults.

As Camp Imani enters its 16th year hosting our free summer camp for inner-city children I'm proud to say that we have weathered the storm Covid sent out way and we are still standing resilient.  

Many children cannot afford the kind of summer camp experience that Camp Imani offers. But thanks to support from you we are able to bring in people who are specialist in their own fields to engage children in Archery, STEM, Visual Arts, Gardening, Modeling, Sewing, Bird Watching, Athletics, Trips and so much more.  We provide a health breakfast, lunch and snacks.

This year will join PS282 and the Department of Education in the "Summer Rising" program.  Summer Rising is meant to provide children with Academic Support to make up for some of the time of personal instructions that the children miss over the last year.  it will run from 8-12 pm.  Camp Imani will run from 8 - 5:30 pm.
