The "Touch Point" project provides blind veterans with comprehensive support for daily life and social reintegration. Through specialized training, they learn orientation and mobility, cooking, self-care, use of digital technologies, physical fitness, and receive psychological assistance. The program empowers participants to regain independence, rebuild confidence, and embrace a fulfilling, active future.
Hundreds of Ukrainian veterans have lost their sight due to war, facing not only physical blindness but also the risk of social isolation, loss of independence, and psychological trauma. Without tailored rehabilitation and skills training, they struggle with everyday tasks, digital access, and integration into society. There is an urgent need for comprehensive programs that restore dignity, autonomy, and confidence.
The project offers an innovative adaptation program that equips blind veterans with essential life skills, digital literacy, physical training, and psychological support. By combining practical training with emotional rehabilitation, it enables participants to navigate daily life independently, rebuild self-confidence, and reintegrate into society with dignity and resilience.
By restoring independence and confidence, the project helps blind veterans become active members of their families and communities. The skills they gain foster long-lasting self-sufficiency, reduce social isolation, and inspire others facing similar challenges. Over time, this creates a more inclusive society that values resilience, dignity, and the contributions of every individual.
