New Doctor for the Children

By Iyyappan Subramanian | Founder Managing Trustee

Sri Arunodayam has a new doctor  for the children now:

All the children in the home are severely affected with multiple disabilities, neuro and cardiological diseases. They need in house medical attention and medical support services.  Sri Arunodayam has been facing lot of challenges with the government authorities and hospitals during the emergency time. Average of 15 children die every year due to various health illness and hence it is mandatory to have a medical team to provide in house medical and clinical services to the children. A duty medical officer has been appointed first time for the children recently. All our children are required constant medical attention for which we have identified a doctor and appointed him. The Doctor visits the children every day from 4 PM to 8 Pm.  A fully equipped medical room consists of all the basic life saving medical equipments are in place now for the children. The doctor reviews the health status of the children and also monitor the care given to the children. He also review the diet given to the children periodically.
