We are excited to announce that our partners at the Disaster Reconstruction Authority have finally broken ground on the Abaco Community Center and hurricane shelter. Stage 1 of the project is complete and the foundation has been laid. This stage included excavating the grounds, laying out the concrete, and then finally reinforcing it. The next phase of work includes installing foundation walls and flooring. This is projected to be completed by mid January and once complete the next phase of work will begin which includes installing the roof. We will continue to update our donors on the exciting progress of the Community Center. Thank you for your continued support!
