Interfaith Encounter Association’s staff, coordinators, members and friends met at the Felm Center for our annual Interfaith Encounter Day.
This is an opportunity for those who come to our groups to meet participants from other groups, as well as for new participants to get to know our activities.
Dr. Yehuda Stolov, IEA’s Executive Director, opened the event by reading a letter sent to us from President of Israel Mr. Isaac Herzog. The President, who has awarded the IEA his prestigious Volunteerism Award in 2022, expressed once more his support for the organization’s mission and activities.
Participants then gathered in small conversation circles, and got to know each other and share about their experiences in the Interfaith Encounter groups.
The conversation continued during a light dinner with musical accompaniment by Wast El Tarik, IEA’s interfaith band.
