We are honored to officially launch ONG É Por Amor’s Community Kitchen and Food Relief Program on GlobalGiving.
From the heart of Manguinhos, one of Rio de Janeiro’s most vulnerable communities, our team works every week to prepare and distribute meals, rescue food that would otherwise be wasted, and support families facing food insecurity and extreme social vulnerability.
This project represents more than food assistance.
It is about dignity, care, human connection, and the belief that no one should face hunger alone.
We are deeply grateful to GlobalGiving for approving and welcoming our project into its international community of organizations creating positive social impact around the world.
International support will help us strengthen our community kitchen operations, maintain consistent meal production, improve food rescue logistics, and continue serving vulnerable families with respect and compassion.
