A great article coverage was done by the CSR magazine for their ISR(Individual social Responsibility) column. It writes about Bal Sambal and Panchsheel Jain and his other great endeavors.

Republic Day was celebrated with lots of joy at Bal Sambal.Shree Harsh Jain(Director at Oswal Soap), visited Bal Sambal with his family and spent time with the kids. The kids presented some patriotic programs and Harsh Ji motivated children to keep up and keep learning. Republic Day was also celebrated with the children of kachchi basti under Pahal initiative and Mr.Farooq Afridi, Mr. Satya Prakash Bharat and Mrs.Poornima Kaul and Mrs. Ranjana Pandey with other teachers participated in the event.

Sadhvi Ashok Shree Ji arrived at Bal Sambal and spend a day with the children. She gave lots of blessings to them.

The children celebrated Holi at Bal Sambal and fully enjoyed the festival of colors. 

The construction of Girls' Hostel is ongoing in full flow and the RCC work was done last month. Now the work has begun on completing the first floor.

Trip to Pizza Hut
Trip to Pizza Hut

Ryan International School via the AIESEC organization organized a Children’s Fest and the children of Bal Sambal gave full participation. Ajit sung songs and Bhanwar and Arjun participated in dances.

2 volunteers for Italy, Barbara and Elaine, arrived to Bal Sambal.They both stayed with the children and understood their daily activities. They arranged numerous activities like children painting their favorite characters on white t-shirts. They were given these t-shirts as gifts and the kids loved them. They also took the children to Pizza hut for a pizza treat. The children loved the treat and really enjoyed the trip to the restaurant.

Miss Preeti Sharma came to Bal Sambal with her Mother, brother and sister-in-law to celebrate her nephew’s birthday with the children.They got lots of gifts for the children, arranged a lunch and spent the whole day with them.

Mr. Bhunashwar Dayal Gupta and Santosh Gupta from Kolkata arrived to Bal Sambal. Omprakash Dangayach and Pushpa Dangayach and Geeta Devi from Jaipur came along with them as well. They got numerous awards for the children like Chess board, volleyball, football, skate board etc.The children exhibited their talents in sports and music and dance and everyone was very impressed.

Bal Sambal is progressing at a great speed.The children are learning new activities and talents and progressing in their education. Furthermore, the construction of the Girls’ Hostel and Old age housing is on-going at a steady pace.

AISAC organization organized a marathon on 8 November, 2015 from the entrance of Ram Niwas Garden to the World Trade Park. The Bal Sambal kids were invited to the inauguration ceremony. The children inaugurated the marathon by losing balloons in the sky. The ex DIG was the chief guest of this program. The children participated in the run and also performed cultural programs. Everyone praised their talents and the children really enjoyed the program as well.

The festival of lights is a beautiful festival in its own. This year, Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Firecrackers and sweets were distributed among the children. The children were very excited for this festival.The whole campus was lights up with candles and diyas. They all wished each other and celebrated it together.

On that day, firecrackers and sweets were distributed to the children in both the centres of Pahal in Jawahar Circle and Jhalana basti. These children got chocolates and Biscuits from Blossom group. they were explained and meaning and importance of Diwali. They really enjoyed the festival.

  • Bal Sambal's children went to World Trade Park to watch "Welcome Back" Hindi movie at Cinepolis Cinema Hall, Jaipur. All Children were very happy to get a chance to watch a movie on big screen and they enjoyed a lot. It was a lovely and memorable experience for them.
  • Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, State Minister of Information Technology and Broadcasting, Govt. of India visited Bal Sambal and surveyed the whole campus. He was very impressed to be welcomed by the children with a welcome song. He asked them many questions regarding their activities and their education. He was very happy with the answers and the skills and knowledge exhibited by the children. He also witnessed their archery skills. He said he couldn’t believe that the children of an NGO, who do not have the support of parents or a family could do so well and it was just because of Bal Sambal.
  • Bal Sambal received an award of respect by Akhil Bhartiya Oswal Parishad, India at the Birla Auditorium on 27th of September, 2015. It was a very nice function and we all felt very proud at receiving that award. It is a great achievement for Bal Sambal. This award was distributed to 14 individuals and 6 organization all over India. Bal Sambal was one of the organization who got this award for Child Welfare activities.
  • On 9th September, 2015, the foundation stone for the Girls’ Hostel in Bal Sambal was laid by Narpat Singh Choraria. This building will be designed to accommodate 250 girls.

Inauguration of the Vivekananda Children’s Hostel

An inauguration ceremony was organized by Bal Sambal run by Bhagirathi Seva Pranyas. The special guests present in the program were the Social Justice and Empowerment minister, Shri Arun Chaturvedi, Ex General Secretary of BJP. Shri Satish Punia, Chomu Legislator, Shri Ramlal Sharma, Olympian Winner Shri Limbaram and Ex-Governor, Shri Navranglal Tibrewal, who presided over the ceremony.

Shri Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Information and Broadcasting Minister, couldn’t come at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, but he shared his views through an audio message and encourages the children of Bal Sambal to progress and learn.

Shri Arun Chaturvedi said that every citizen must give back to the country and fulfill his responsibilities. Everyone should come forward and give help to the needy, orphans and aged of the country. He appreciated and complimented the activities and objectives of Bal Sambal for the children, aged and helpless.

Shri Satish Punia said that for the country to grow, everyone should take each other and progress together. Bal Sambal’s manager and founder, Panchsheel Jain welcomed the special guests and thanked them for their support and time. All supporters, donors, workers and teachers of Bal Sambal present there were awarded for their work and support. The children of Bal Sambal presented and entertained the guests with a special cultural program. The guests inspected Bal Sambal and gained information about the children’s daily routine, teaching facilities, lifestyle other activities, etc.

The foundation stone of the Vivekananda hostel was laid by Shri Kamal Duggar and Shri Tulsi Duggar and the first floor gained support from the A.M. Kothari and Savitri Devi Charity Trust and will be named Hari-Savitri Hostel.

Aha! Zindagi team arrived in Bal Sambal

Aha! Zindagi magazine’s Chief Editor, Shri Alok Srivastava and Editor, Shri Arun Lal arrived in Bal Sambal on March 1st. They loved the work process and management of Bal Sambal and wrote a beautiful article in their magazine about Bal Sambal.

World Water Day

Srimati Bharti Chauhan from Pravinlal Foundation and Pinki Maheshwari and Sharada Daga from “Someone Special” came to Bal Sambal from World Water Day on March 21st. They spent their time with the children and through the medium of water tried to hone the talents of the children by teaching them various things.

Terapanthi Women’s Mandal (C-Scheme) arrived in Bal Sambal

Mukulika Baid, Saroj Bengani, Seema Baid, Dolly etc. from Avloknarth Terapanthi Mandal arrived to Bal Sambal on 31st March, 2015. They were really impressed by the children’s talents in Music, Education, Sports and cultural activities and donated 40 beds to Bal Sambal for the children.

PadmaShri Limba Ram Ji visited Bal Sambal

Olympic Archery winner, Shri Limba Ram Ji visited Bal Sambal for the hostel inauguration ceremony. He encouraged the children to work harder on archery and other sports and gave them a lot of tips and tricks on getting better at Archery. He was very impressed with the children’s archery skills and expressed happiness at their talent and opportunities. The children were excited to find Shri Limba Ram amongst them and learn from him.

Participation in Scout and Guide Camp

32 children from Bal Sambal participated in the Scout Training Camp on 23-27th March. The children understood the importance of discipline in daily life and our duties towards the country. They learned a lot of important lessons with the children from other organizations like waking up early, exercising, running, eating timely, sports, love towards the country, working together as a team and some patriotic songs. Their received the uniform and certificate from the Scout Academy.

Jiyo Dil Se Award
My FM 94.3 of the Dainik Bhaskar group gave awards to 20 social workers from 17 cities in India who are living for other from their heart and are providing new direction of the society. The awards were given in a huge celebration in Ahemdabad.

Celebrated Holi

The children of Bal Sambal were very excited to celebrate Holi and celebrated it on 5th March. They played with color and enjoyed listening to mythological stories told by Shri Shyojiram. The children presented some cultural songs amongst the guests and gave respect to Shri Panchsheel Jain by tying a turban on his head. Two volunteers, Anabel and Florent were present during the celebration and enjoyed distributing the sweets and colors among themselves.

The managing director of Bachchon Ka Desh, Shri Panchsheel Jain received the award for his initiative, Bal Sambal and working in the betterment of children of India. Shri Panchsheel had resolved to leave business after turning the age of 50 and giving all his time and energy to social welfare, the result of which we see today in different forms and ways.
