Support for 50 Multi disabled children

Dear Friends,
We are extremely happy to submit the 7th quarterly report of children with Multiple disabilities.
Thanks to Global Giving community for your generous support .
Your valuable donation has been utilized to provide appropriate residential training to rehabilitate them in the community.
In this project we have children with multiple disabilities (Visually Impairment with Mentally Challenged or Hearing loss).
These children are neglected by their parents due to poverty. Hence Divine Light is providing free residential Education and appropriate training in : Horticulture, Craft & Music, Tailoring , Braille, Orientation & Mobility, Parent Counselling, Medical intervention, Social Skills & Self help care etc… in order to bring them to the mainstream.

January 4, 2014 Celebration of Louie Braille Day
January 26, 2014 Republic Day Celebration
The Success Story of Pooja
Pooja is 16 year old, she is Mentally Challenged with speech problem. She came to our Institution at the age of 14 years. She come from very poor family and she was neglected by her parents. Therefore the Divine Light admit Pooja to our center after medical intervention we began her training in : self-help care, Social skills, House hold activities, Tailoring, craft and music with dance. She is slowly gaining confidence & benefiting from our training . We hope that with this training she could stand on her feet and lead a dignified life in the society along with her parents.
We take this opportunity to thank in a special way to Global Giving and to all our donors who have contributed generously for the benefit of the children with multiple disabilities.
